TRINITY IMPROV HOLIDAYS
Trinity is your improv holiday adventure....What is Trinity?
Summer, sun, fun and improv!
From Wednesday the 12th of August – Sunday the 16th we’ll provide you with a proper improv holiday: Three days of improv. Four nights of fun. Five days of holiday. Spend your holiday in a fancy hotel in the company of amazing people for an exclusive improv getaway.
SLOW. MEDIUM. FAST.
A workshop series all about exploring the rhythm, pace, and pulse of your improvisation.
Have you ever been in a scene where time seemed to stretch — where every tiny movement felt charged and the audience leaned in, waiting for the next breath? Or one where the energy lifted the room, ideas bouncing so quickly that laughter followed every beat?
For improvisers, mastering tempo is one of the most powerful (and most overlooked) tools we have. The secret is learning how pacing shapes emotion, tension, comedy, and connection.
This year’s SLOW. MEDIUM. FAST. workshops will guide you through three essential modes of play: the depth and presence of slow scenes, the clarity and balance of medium-paced storytelling, and the joyful chaos and sharp instincts of fast improvisation. Join us for a journey that will expand your range, sharpen your awareness, and transform the way you build scenes and longform narratives.
We’ll create two workshop groups with a maximum of 12 people — every group will receive the same workshops.
Your trainer
Lena Breuer | Teacher
Lena studied acting and journalism and lost her heart to improv 13 years ago.
Today she is teaching and performing in Germany and at different international festivals. Lena worked with superheroes like Keith Johnstone and Patti Stiles. She also worked in scripted theatre, camera acting and clowning.
She is the founder of Impro Köln, a professional improv company in Cologne (GER) and the IFO Impro Fest, the first ever online improvfestival, created in times of the Corona Pandemic, which became an offline experience in 2021.
Marith Venderbosch | Teacher
At the age of 14 Marith discovered improvisation for the first time – and she’s never looked back.
After developing a strong foundation in theatresports and street theatre, she moved on to train in acting, directing and teaching and is now a theatre teacher based in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Marith is also the Artistic Director of Rocky Amaretto, a Dutch group with a unique raw edge, and is a member of the all-female group The Ferocious Four and the border crossing Werewolves ensemble. With all of the above groups she has travelled through Europe to perform at festivals such as FiiF (Tampere); Sacreblue (Strasbourg) and Improtheaterfestival Würzburg.
Vincent van de Nieuwenhuyze | Teacher
Vincent is a professional improv teacher, player, and coach from Ghent, Belgium. He has performed for almost 15 years and has been teaching improv in Belgium and on the international improv circuit for over 7. Vincent brings intimacy, warmth, safety and tons of energy to scenes. He loves refreshing the basics and keeping the fun in the fundamentals. With a background in social work and education, he loves to find ways to educate society through improv and together create a more diverse, more accepting, warm, and loving environment for all of us to play in.
The word ’flamboyant’ was created to describe Vincent, same holds for lovable and charming. His own go-to term is #fancyasfuck though. He plays a mean forest troll, be it that a fairy-in-the-woods sometimes applies equally well. He stands on stage like puss in boots, with a booming voice.
